Loch Lomond Coffee Co. is owned and managed by brothers Stuart and David Fraser. They are also partners in the multi-award winning family business, The Oak Tree Inn also located in Balmaha, Loch Lomond.
With strong credentials in food and drink the brothers have also created their own Ice Cream range - Loch Lomond Luxury Ice Cream, as well as opening St Mocha Coffee shops around Loch Lomond.
In 2017 the duo decided the time was right to roast their own coffee. With a passion for artisan coffee and a determination to serve the best tasting coffee in their businesses they set about creating the Loch Lomond Coffee Co.
The project was supported, with funding contributions towards the launch costs, from Forth Valley & Lomond Leader, rural business funding scheme.
The coffee is roasted using a Giesen W15A, regularly roasting coffee in a specially developed room, that adjoins St Mocha Coffee Shop & Ice Cream Parlour in the village of Balmaha, Loch Lomond. Tours are available on request.
The Giesen coffee roasting equipment was made to order and imported. It was finished in the Loch Lomond Coffee Co. bright red colour. For all you coffee geeks we will be putting out more information in the weeks to come on our blog, plus you can get regular updates on our Instagram account.
